Bau Bang launches action month and media campaign on gender equality

On December 5, Bau Bang district launched the action month and media campaign on gender equality and violence prevention Bau Bang district in 2017 with the theme "Joining hands to eliminate violence against women and children". Attending the ceremony were more than 500 officials, members, youth unionists and people in the district.

At the launching ceremony, leaders of communes responded to district activities on GE and participated in propaganda campaigns on central district roads. In the launching month, the district Office of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs hung propaganda banners on main roads of districts and communes; coordinated with the district radio station to organize programs on GE, thereby contributing to change the perception of the society, especially men to women are equal.
