Part 2: Continuing to implement well personnel planning

 To meet development requirements of TDM town and Binh Duong new city in the coming time, TDM town’s Party Standing Committee has set up an action plan for the Resolution 3 of the eighth National Party Congress on personnel strategy in the period of boosting national industrialization and modernization, the resolutions and action programs of the provincial Party Committee. To know more about this, Binh Duong Daily had an interview with Mr.Pham Van Tan, Head of TDM town Party Committee’s Organization Department. He said:

 Under the strategy, managerial officials from town to grassroots levels have strived to rise up and fulfill their entrusted missions.

 What about specific results?

 Officials and civil servants herein have made improvement in professional competence, political stance, State administration and other necessary knowledge.

 To achieve the above result, TDM town’s Party Standing Committee has well realized the assessment, planning, training and rotation of the local officials. The result of the town-level Party congress indicated that the ratio of young and female officials has met requirements and one-third of the executive board of the new Party Committee has been changed compared to the old executive board.

 What is your assessment of the results done in two new wards of Hoa Phu and Phu Tan?

 In general, the organization and activities of Hoa Phu and Phu Tan wards have gradually gone into stability. Their political system has been strengthened and worked effectively in the initial period. They have so far fulfilled the list of quarter officials. But, they have still faced several difficulties, including the lack of material facilities, the ineffective operation of radio system…

 Which measures have TDM town’s Party committee stepped up to redress the above mentioned difficulties?

 TDM town’s Party Standing Committee has issued Plan No.62/KH-TU dated May 13, 2009 on further strengthening implementation of the personnel strategy from now till 2020, which requires to build up a staff of competent officials to be able to successfully realize the town’s socio-economic targets, ensure enough officials in case of dividing and establishing new administrative units in the coming time, strive to have 100% of officials under management of town’s Party Standing Committee with standards in reference of provincial People’s Committee’s Decision No.665/QD-TU.

 The town’s Party Standing Committee has also instructed the Party Committees of Hoa Phu and Phu Tan wards to well execute personnel planning.
