Binh Duong leads the country in the rate of students enrolling in universities and colleges

At the 2024 admission conference held on the morning of March 15 at Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the rate of 2023 high school graduation rates and university college admission rates. Accordingly, Binh Duong continued to lead the country in the rate of students matriculating and enrolling in universities and colleges.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, in 2023, the country had more than 1 million candidates taking the high school graduation exam, of which 546,686 candidates were admitted to universities and colleges across the country, reaching 53.12% of the total number of candidates. The 2023 enrollment report of the Ministry of Education and Training also lists 10 localities (provincial level) with the highest rate of students enrolling in universities and colleges and 10 localities (provincial level) with the lowest rate of students enrolling in university and college. Namely, the top 10 highest localities is Binh Duong, with a university and college admission rate of 80.61%; Ranking last among the 10 lowest localities is Son La with a rate of 25.79%.

Thus, this is the second time Binh Duong leads the country in the rate of students enrolling in universities and colleges.
