Update: 25-04-2023 | 14:30:59

According to the Vietnam E-commerce Index (EBI) report for 2023 just announced by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (Vecom), Binh Duong's EBI ranked fourth in the country, remaining the ranking in 2022 with 35.7 points.

Ho Chi Minh city continues to lead the country in EBI ranking with 89.2 points, second is Hanoi with 85.7 points, and third Da Nang with 39.5 points. The average score of this year's index is 19.24 points, not changed much from 20.37 points in 2022.

According to Vecom, the change in calculation and ranking methods from 2020 aims to more accurately reflect the current status and growth rate of e-commerce between localities. The component indexes are added from many reputable data sources with quantitative and accurate nature.

The EBI is compiled by Vecom from 3 component indexes including human resources and information technology infrastructure, e-commerce transactions between businesses and consumers (B2C) and e-commerce transactions between business and business (B2B).
