Leader of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV)’s Binh Duong branch said that in the first 6 months of 2022, the situation of capital mobilization in the province continued growing.
Accordingly, the total mobilized capital as of late June was estimated at more than VND 281.43 trillion, up 5.46% and 11.18% compared to the beginning of the year and the same period last year. Of the total amount, deposits from economic organizations were estimated at more than VND153.99 trillion, accounting for 55.49% of total mobilized capital, increasing by 6.12% compared to the beginning of the year; deposits from individuals were estimated at more than VND123.53trillion, accounting for 44.51% of the total mobilized capital, rising by 4.66% compared to the beginning of the year. In addition, capital mobilized from promissory notes, bonds and valuable papers was estimated at VND3.9trillion, accounting for 1.39% of total mobilized capital, increasing by 5.21% compared to the beginning of the year. Currently, commercial banks continue deploying mobilization programs to attract deposits at on-site demand for capital for the economy.
