Local leaders at the ribbon cutting ceremony of the concentrated customs inspection point.
On Dec. 29, Binh Duong Customs Bureau inaugurated the concentrated customs inspection point at Binh Hoa ward, National Highway No.13, Thuan An town. Attending the inauguration ceremony were the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung and Mr. Nguyen Duong Thai, vice head of Vietnamese General Department of Customs and other delegates.
The X-ray machine-based concentrated customs inspection point has the total area of more than 26,200 sqm with the total investment capital of VND62bil in which the inspection warehouse is designed with high-dock system, convenient for inspecting containers.
The X-ray machine is worth of VND53bil allowing over 150 containers to be inspected within one hour.
Addressing the ceremony, the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung recognized achievements and applauded effort of Binh Duong provincial Customs Bureau’s cadres and employees and simultaneously reminded local customs sector to promote further its role in the coming time.
