Cooperation enhanced to elevate relationship of Binh Duong and Yamaguchi Prefecture

In the afternoon of November 14, at Becamex Hotel in Binh Duong New city of Thu Dau Mot city was an exchange meeting with the delegation of Yamaguchi Prefecture and Japanese enterprises towards the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the important Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relations in 2023. Attending the meeting, on the side of Binh Duong province was Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Van Loc -Standing Member, and Head of the provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the provincial Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front, and members of the Standing Committee of the provincial Party Committee. On the Japanese side was Watanabe Nobuhiro - Consul General in Ho Chi Minh city, Muraoka Tsugumasa - Governor of Yamaguchi Prefecture, Futatsugi Kenji – Deputy Chairman of Yamaguchi Prefectural Council.

Speaking at the meeting, Vo Van Minh expressed his hope that in the coming time, Binh Duong province will continue to receive active cooperation from the Yamaguchi Prefecture. Vo Van Minh said Binh Duong province wished to continue to strengthen extensive cooperation with Yamaguchi Prefecture in the fields of science and technology development, education and training, health care, physical training and sports, etc. to the socio-economic development of the two localities.

Muraoka Tsugumasa - Governor of Yamaguchi Prefecture, also expressed his belief that in the coming time, the good relationship between the two localities will be developed to a new height, making joint contributions to the development of the two countries.

At the meeting, leaders of the two localities discussed and agreed to coordinate with the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, the Japanese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh city and Japanese partners to organize the events at the national level on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.

In the afternoon of the same day and within the framework of the working visit to Binh Duong province, Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong – Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Council, received a high-level delegation of Yamaguchi Prefecture from Japan led by Muraoka Tsugumasa - Governor of Yamaguchi.

Speaking at the meeting, Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong highly appreciated and gratefully thanked Japanese partners for the cooperation and coordination of the Council and the Yamaguchi Prefecture in connecting and deepening the friendly cooperative relationship between the two localities of Binh Duong and Yamaguchi in particular and the good cooperative relationship between the two countries Vietnam and Japan in general.

Futatsugi Kenji – Deputy Chairman of Yamaguchi Prefecture Council, congratulated Binh Duong province on successfully controlling the COVID-19 epidemic to recover economic development and return to stable operation in the new situation. Futatsugi Kenji believed that the cooperation relationship between Yamaguchi and Binh Duong province in general and Binh Duong provincial People's Council and Yamaguchi Council will be bolstered in the coming time.
