U&I Agriculture JSC (Unifarm) and Coastal Fisheries Development Corporation (Cofidec) signed a deal on cultivation and purchase of materials in serve for export processing at An Thai hi-tech agriculture area on April 19.  At the signing ceremony on cultivation and purchase of materials for export.  Accordingly, Unifarm will plant and supply products for Cofidec’s production and export. Specifically, in 2012 Unifarm will grow eggplant, okras and some other products on an area of 150ha to offer for Cofidec then the area will be increased up to 150ha and Unifarm will introduce the model to local farmers to plant these trees under inspection of Unifarm. At present, Unifarm has reached certificate of Global GAP and its products have appeared across big supermarkets such as Metro, Coopmart, Big C… whilst Cofidec under Sai Gon Trade Company has specialized in export of agricultural and aquatic products with a turnover of about US$4.5mil per year.
