Dau Tieng district to receive second-class Labor Medal

On Apr 8, Dau Tieng District Party Executive Committee held the 5th conference, 2015-2020 tenure (opened) to evaluate the economic social, defense – security condition of the first quarter and tasks, orientations of the second quarter of 2016. Nguyen Huu Tu, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, attended the conference.

According to reports, in the first quarter, the district's economic condition continued to develop stably. The estimated total goods value of the district was over VND2,368 billion, achieving 22.92% target. The district also completed the procedures for new rural recognition. Cultural, arts, sports activities were organized widely at all levels to meet cultural and spiritual needs of people. Political security was secured, social order and safety are guaranteed.

Addressing at the conference, Mr. Tu appreciated the achievements of Dau Tieng district; and asked the district to further study for crop and livestock conversion in the agricultural structure to create resilience and sustainable development; agricultural development associated with ecotourism. Besides, Mr. Tu also hoped that Dau Tieng district would prepare carefully to proactively meet the requirements of industrial development in the future.

Earlier, authorized by the President, Mr. Tu conferred second-class Labor Medal upon Dau Tieng District for outstanding achievements from 2010 to 2014 and contributions to the socialism cause and national defense.
