Di An Town youths commit to training

In two days of July 21 and 22, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth League of Di An Town organized the 4th Congress of 2017-2022 tenure. In the last term, they have effectively implemented revolutionary movements. The mission of the delegation in the town is always according to the resolution, the action plans of the Party committees at all levels and the main objectives and tasks that set out. All indicators have reached and exceeded, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the locality.

In recent years, the study and follow the ideas, ethics and style of President Ho Chi Minh were implemented effectively in Di An Town in all facilities of the Youth’s League, Associations and Children Pioneer. In the tenure, more than 98% of cadres, union members, youth members and members registered for President Ho's work. Especially, many models of following President Ho Chi Minh such as "Youth garden by the words of President Ho Chi Minh", "One-hour power saving according to President Ho Chi Minh", the deployment of learning and following  President Ho Chi Minh. These models have become movements attracting a large number of young people in the area to participate.

Following President Ho Chi Minh, the town’s Youth League have been trying to implement many good youth movements to promote youthfulness. Namely, the movement of business starting up. Target of totally eradicating the poor and the target of youth participation in social skills training programs has been achieved. With regard to the movements of participation into socio-economic development and national defense, the youth of the town has not only performed well with the military units stationed in the locality but in the community.

Tran Bao Lam, Secretary of the Di An Town’s said: "The youth volunteer movements of the last term have been developed in terms of quality and quantity. Volunteer campaigns, roads, urban embellishment, cultural institutions serving the people, supporting the examination season, supporting new rural activities in the units inside and outside the province are spreading, carrying Re practical effect. In addition, volunteer programs promoting compassion and sharing difficulties in life also received the active and active participation of the youth and many individuals supporting and joining hands for social security and welfare."

From the activities, the public interest movement has attracted more and more young people to participate in the Association, contributing to improve the effectiveness of expanding the front of the youth union unity. Therefore, the Youth League has always been promoting its political role with continual expansion in the youth workers and labor-intensive enterprises. Up to now, the Youth League in the town has established and maintained 135 grassroots, attracting more than 5,100 members to participate in various activities to take care of cultural and spiritual life. Through the programs, movements, many members and elite members were introduced to the Party to consider admitting. Over the past five years, 458 youths have been admitted, accounting for 70% of the total newly elected members of the Communist Party; the youth unity ratio is raised to about 65%.

For the results achieved in the term of 2012-2017, the missions and youth movements of the Di An Town Youth’s League have always been recognized by the Provincial Youth Union as a unit of excellence in the general movements of the province. Honorably, the Youth Union has received the third Labor Medal awarded by the State President and awarded by the Central Youth Union the flag of recognition of excellent units for 5 consecutive years (2012-2017).
