Direct flights from Shanghai to Ho Chi Minh City to be opened

On Oct 26, Ho Chi Minh City representative office of China Southern Airlines introduced the winter schedule 2016.

Accordingly, from Oct 30th 2016, direct flights from Shanghai to Ho Chi Minh City of China Southern Airlines will officially be operated with a frequency 1 flight/day by Airbus 320. These flights will take off from Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 8.15 am and land at Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 12.00 pm (local time); then will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 12.55 pm and arrive at Shanghai at 6.00 pm of the same date (local time).

From Jul 2015, this airline has operated a direct route connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Shenzhen City. To meet the increasing travel demand of customers, from Oct 30th 2016, China Southern Airlines will increase flight frequency from 3 flights/week to 1 flight/day on this route. Namely, every day, a flight will take off from Shenzhen at 12.10 pm and land at Ho Chi Minh City at 1.30 pm (local time); then will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 2.30 pm and arrive at Shenzhen at 5.30 pm (local time).

From Oct 30th 2016, the airline will also increase the flight frequency of Guangzhou – Hanoi by 3 flights/day; and will increase flight frequency of Guangzhou journey - Ho Chi Minh City from 3 flights/day to 4 flights/day from Jan 2017.

Currently, China Southern Airlines is the largest airline of China and one of foreign airlines operating many flights to Vietnam with routes from Guangzhou to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc.
