Listening to thoughts, feelings and aspirations of officers and soldiers

Early June 28, provincial Military Command held a democratic dialogue session with officers and soldiers for the second quarter of 2024. Colonel Le Minh Phuong, Deputy Political Commissar of provincial Military Command chaired the dialogue. The session saw the participation of 230 representatives from all ranks of officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the local armed forces.

In the spirit of frankness, objectivity, democracy and openness, officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers expressed numerous opinions, feelings, aspirations, shared their difficulties and obstacles in learning and working. The discussions focused on such issues as democracy in military and professional matters; political democracy; methods and work styles of leadership, management and command officers at all levels; activities of the soldiers' council and movements of mass organizations; economic and living conditions and other topics. The functional agencies and leaders of provincial Military Command provided clear explanations and responses, addressing the concerns, feelings and aspirations of the officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers.

Through these democratic dialogues, leaders of provincial Military Command gained a clear understanding of the thoughts, feelings, aspirations and difficulties faced by provincial armed forces' officers and soldiers. This timely leadership and direction helped resolve issues arising during the task execution, meeting the officers and soldiers’ legitimate needs and aspirations, fostering consensus, enhancing solidarity and unity within the unit, and ensuring readiness to complete all assigned tasks, thereby contributing to building up a clean, strong Party Committee and a comprehensively strong, and outstanding unit.
