Early June 10, provincial Youth Union grandly held a ceremony to inaugurate Doan Thi Lien Monument park in Ben Cat district’s Chanh Phu Hoa commune on the 60th anniversary of the Traditional Day for the Vietnamese Young Volunteer Force.

The significant work commenced construction in August 2009 with a total cost financed by the local youths and State budget. This is a place for amusing activities and education about the example of hero of the people’s armed forces Doan Thi Lien as well as the glorious tradition of the local young volunteer force.
Addressing the ceremony, Pham Van Canh, head of provincial Committee for Public Relations expressed his delight at the meaningful work of the local youths. He said: “Preserving and upholding the value of the historic and political work need to be implemented; this is also a place for traditional education, learning, entertainment activities, contributing to raising the spiritual lives of the local youths and people.
