Educational activities of traffic safety held for students

 The provincial department of Education and Training just asked divisions of Education and Training of districts, towns and Thu Dau Mot city, schools to launch and facilitate local students’ participation in the 2014 contest of “Safety along with electric bikes and motorbikes”.

The national contest is co-held by the national committee for traffic safety and the ministry of Education and Training. Accordingly, students participating in this contest will access the website:www.xedapdienantoan.com and fill information on available forms to take part in this contest.

The contest is to improve electronic bikes and motorbike riders’ awareness on traffic safety, especially students as well as to disseminate traffic culture for electronic bikes and motorbike riders, contributing to ensure traffic order and safety, minimize accidents and traffic congestions.

Also in this month, the provincial department of Education and Training will organize the contest of “smart traffic” on Internet for primary and secondary students in the school year of 2014-2015 and simultaneously will launch education program of “traffic safety for children’s smile” in the academic year of 2014-2015 in line with the Ministry of Education and Training’s Document No.5947/BGDDT-GDTH dated on Oct. 20, 2014.

It is expected that the local department of Education and Training will coordinate with Honda An Thanh to hold the program for students of 21 primary schools in Thu Dau Mot city and 5 primary schools in Thuan An town from Dec. 2014 to Jan. 2015.
