Egyptian President to pay State visit to Vietnam

President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will make a State visit to Vietnam on September 6-7.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is going to pay State visit to Vietnam

The visit will be made at the invitation of President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang.

Egypt was the first Arabian country to establish relationship with Vietnam. On September 1, 1963, the two nations announced official diplomatic relations.

Trade revenue between Vietnam and Egypt hit about 314 million USD in 2016, of which Vietnamese exports to Egypt made up 249 million USD.
