On Jan. 15, Tran Van Nam, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee paid a working session with Neitherland’s Eindhoven city delegation led by Mrs. Mary - Ann Schreurs, vice head of Eindhoven city and reps of corporations, institutes and more, exchanging cooperation opportunities between Eindhoven and Binh Duong.
At the working session, after hearing reports on Binh Duong’s economic situation, Mrs. Mary – Ann Schreurs said that she was very impressive on Binh Duong’s development on areas of economy, infrastructure planning, investment attraction as well as local people’s living standard. In this visit, the delegation will ink a cooperation agreement with Binh Duong provincial administration to develop the two sides’ advantages, especially industrial infrastructure and high technology.
Through the cooperation, the two sides will promote creation, especially new technology, to apply into hi-tech industry in Binh Duong province.
Tran Van Nam highly appreciated cooperation between Binh Duong and Eindhoven city and said that the local trend of investment attraction given priorities for hi-tech areas with great competition is also an advantage of Eindhoven city, so the cooperation is very advantaged and significant for the two sides. The provincial People’s Committee pledges to facilitate Eindhoven city-based enterprises’ cooperation and investment in Binh Duong.
Also the same day, the delegation paid visits to Becamex IDC, Eastern International University, Binh Duong new city and My Phuoc industrial parks and more.
At the working session with Becamex IDC, Mrs. Mary – Ann Schreurs agreed on Becamex IDC’s suggestions on establishing a promotion center between Binh Duong and Eindhoven with the participation of Becamex IDC and Brainport.
