Emulation group of provincial bloc for internal affairs pays working visit to Champasak province

From October 14 to 17, a delegation of the emulation group of provincial bloc for Internal Affairs, led by Vo Thanh Nhan, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, paid a working visit to agencies and units of the emulation bloc for internal affairs in Champasak province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

In the framework of the working visit, the delegation visited and worked with leaders of Champasak province; Champasak provincial Military Command and Police Agency; Dau Tieng Viet - Laos Rubber Joint Stock Company. During the working session with leaders of Champasak province, Mr. Nhan introduced Binh Duong province’s socio-economic development situation as well as the local socio-economic development orientation towards giving priority to absorbing new generation investment, green, sustainable and smart development while emphasizing the process of comprehensive friendly cooperation between Binh Duong province and Champasak province, including cooperation in human resource development and training.

It is known that Binh Duong province has so far granted 93 scholarships to Lao students. Among them, 52 have returned home after graduation and 41 students are studying at Thu Dau Mot University. During the period of 2022-2026, Binh Duong province will support training with university level for 20 students from Champasak province.
