Fatherland Front Committee of North Tan Uyen District directs activities to the grassroots

In 2023, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels in North Tan Uyen district and its member organizations have innovated their content and operating methods turning towards the grassroots. Thereby creating a pervasive power, contributing to mobilizing and encouraging people from all walks of life to unite and emulate to successfully implement local socio-economic development goals and plans.

Notably, the Fatherland Front mobilized people and businesses to contribute to the localities to upgrade, concretize and repair 25 roads, nearly 1km in length, with a total cost of nearly VND7.8 billion; give gifts to policy families, poor households, and people having in extremely difficult circumstances with 5,578 gifts worth nearly VND2.5 billion. The Fatherland Front also well organized communication and propagation work to encourage dignitaries, officials and parishioners to live a "good life, beautiful religion", actively participate in implementing the "Peaceful Parish", "Civilized weddings and funerals", local environmental protection self-management groups... Social supervision and criticism, voter meeting, grasping public opinion, Party committee conferences, and government listening to people were emphasized. People's Inspection Board and Community Investment Supervision Board promoted their operational roles, contributing to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people.

In the coming time, Fatherland Front at all levels in the district will focus on preparing for the Fatherland Front Congress at all levels for the 2024-2029 term; promote information, propagation, and gathering of people from all walks of life; strengthen understanding of public opinion, maintain and replicate effective operating models, and further promote the role of grassroots front officials.
