Early August 26, at the 6-route cross-road in central Phu Cuong Ward of Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong Provincial Youth League coordinated with provincial traffic safety board and An Thanh Honda Distributor to hold a launching ceremony of campaign of traffic safety and festive days of youths and good conduct in traffic participation. Attending the ceremony were provincial leaders and representatives from departments, sectors, and agencies together with hundreds of Youth League members in the region.At the ceremony, plenty of activities were held including art and play performances, photo display of traffic accidents, traffic safety knowledge contest, contest of safe motorbike riding, and exchanges for high quality safety helmets. Meanwhile, 22 teams of volunteers maintaining and propaganda for traffic safety were introduced.At the ceremony, Prof. Vu Gia Hien, Ph.D, Director of Center for Researches and Application of Culture and Tourism gave a speech on making traffic safety a culture among young people and young workers.The organizer also awarded 29 individuals for excellent contribution to propaganda for traffic safety in 2012 and handed over 2 nails and metal picking machines to Hiep Thanh Ward Traffic Safety Unit in Thu Dau Mot Town, and Thuan Giao Ward Traffic Safety Unit in Thuan An Town.An Thanh Honda Distributor awarded 800 safety helmets and gifts to Youth League members and representatives participating the ceremony.Reported by N.
