Former President Nguyen Minh Triet supports Covid-19 vaccine fund

On June 7, leaders of Ben Cat town’s Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee received VND 10 million from former Politburo member and former State President Nguyen Minh Triet in support of the local  Covid-19 Vaccine Fund.

Although being retired, the former President has still monitored the situation and activities of the country as well as of Binh Duong province. In recent years, the former President has also regularly supported the local Support Fund for the Poor and Covid-19 prevention and control. This time, under the Government and the province’s call of support for the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund, with his heart, the former President continued giving support, aiming to joining hands with provincial Covid-19 Vaccine Fund to buy vaccines for all people.

According to provincial Fatherland Front Committee, units, organizations, businesses and donors have so far registered to support more than VND 40 billion to the local Covid-19 Vaccine Fund.
