According to Department of Construction, the geographical information system has been integrated with specialized shared databases and installed on the shared data center of Binh Duong province to serve information lookup services in accordance with regulations on construction plan at the address of www.gisxd.binhduong. gov.vn - the basis for departments, branches and localities to continue using and integrating databases of sectors and units onto the province's shared information structure to deploy in the next stages.

In 2021-2025, the construction industry will continue to focus on implementing public investment projects to enhance and promote the role of "geographic information systems and specialized construction software" in building management. Specifically, 5 public investment projects 2021-2025: the application of satellite technology and remote sensing to build up-to-date oriented reference data sources, digitization of traffic data, and urban planning and construction investment, deploying and applying the model of updating GIS data in the construction industry according to business processes, application of 3D GIS and 3D city models in urban management and construction activities (pilot in Thu Dau Mot city), proposing and piloting a GIS management model combined with BIM in construction investment management.
