Gift visits made to encourage detoxifying people

On the morning of June 27 and on the occasion of Drug Prevention Action Month, the delegation led by Nguyen Loc Ha - Standing Member of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Head of the provincial Steering Committee 138 visited and gave gifts to people at a provincial drug rehabilitation establishment in Tam Lap commune of Phu Giao district.

Nguyen Loc Ha extended greetings to 720 who are under detoxification process at the facility and all people working onsite. Leaders of the provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and endeavors of officials and employees of the provincial drug addiction treatment facility for a safe environment for students to study and receive treatment over the past time. At the same time, he encouraged and wished the trainees good health to complete the detoxification program at the grassroots, and soon become useful people for their families and social community.

On the occasion, the Steering Committee 138 gave gifts of VND 500,000 each to 30 students with excellent achievements in study and detoxification at the grassroots. The committee also donated 3 televisions at a total value of more than VND 15 million to the establishment. Phu Giao district People's Committee donated a TV worth VND 5 million to the establishment.
