Gifts donated to policy beneficiaries

North Tan Uyen district’s People’s Committee has donated additional 200 gifts worth VND1.2million each to policy beneficiary families with difficult circumstances from the local State budget on the occasion of the 70^th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.

Since early this year, the district’s People’s Committee has also instructed the district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the People’s Committees of communes to build and upgrade 14 gratitude houses for policy beneficiaries from the province’s State budget; coordinated with relevant agencies to provide free medical check-ups for policy beneficiaries; dealt with policies for revolutionary contributors…

*To mark the 70^th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27), Binh Duong University of Economics-Technology has just held a wide range of practical activities in association with the moral principles of “when drinking water, remembering its source” and  “paying debt of gratitude”.

Accordingly, the school held a delegation to visit and offer incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery; visited and presented gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers and policy beneficiary families in TDM city. The school’s Youth Union and students will also take part in a ceremony lighting candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery on July 25; visit and offer gifts to policy beneficiary families in Thuan An town’s Thuan Giao ward on July 26 ahead.

*The Youth Union of BIDV’s Binh Duong branch has just held many significant activities, especially a journey following the footsteps of heroes on the occasion of the 70^th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).

Accordingly, the branch’s young people paid wreaths at the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Dau Tieng district’s Thanh Tuyen commune; visited and provided free medical check-ups, medicine and gifts for 6 heroic Vietnamese mothers, 200 poor and policy beneficiary families with a total expense of VND50million…
