Gifts offered to poor-but-excellent pupils

The War Veterans’ Association of Vinh Phu ward in Thuan An town has just awarded gifts to members’ offspring with good academic results.

On this occasion, the association gave 16 gifts worth VND250,000 each, comprising of 10 notebooks, pens and VND100,000 in cash, to these pupils. Nguyen Thanh Giau, Chairman of the association said that the annual activity aimed to encourage them to study better. It is known that over the past time, the association made efforts in accompanying the local poor-but-excellent pupils.
