Gifts presented to poor ethnic minority people in central Phu Yen province

A delegation from provincial Red Cross Society, its Volunteers’ Club and provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Charity Board has just visited and presented gifts to poor ethnic minority people in Dong Xuan district’s two communes of Xuan Lanh and Da Loc in the central province of Phu Yen (photo).

Each commune was presented 150 gifts worth VND500,000 each, including rice, instant noodle, sugar and other some necessaries plus VND200,000 in cash. It is known that the donation has a total value of VND150mln.

The above gifts were funded by Phuoc An pagoda, Phat Hoc pagoda in TDM city, Long Son pagoda in Tan Uyen district’s Tan My commune, Tay Thien pagoda in Di An town and Lam Quang pagoda in HCM city’s district 8.
