Gifts worth over VND700mln given for veterans in Lao Cai

On April 13 and 15, a delegation of provincial leaders, headed by Huynh Van Nhi, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee has visited and presented gifts to Lao Cai northern mountainous province’s veterans who were sent to TDM province (now being Binh Duong) in the struggle against American imperialism.

Mr.Nhi said that this was one of significant activities, expressing solidarity between the two countries’ army & people and was also a chance for Binh Duong to pay tribute to veterans who were sent into the Southeastern battlefield, including TDM province.

Accordingly, the delegation has extended best regards and presented gifts worth nearly VND700mln to the above veterans. On this occasion, the delegation has also acknowledged their difficulties for timely support.
