Provincial Youth Union has always aimed at the goal of “Joining hands for public welfare”. With this, provincial Youth Union has over time tried to set achievements to mark the 56th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Federation.

Youths living beautifully and usefully

This is one of the great emulation movements launched by provincial Youth Federation. Under the emulation movement, the local youths have actively studied and followed Uncle Ho’s teachings via many models, namely “My family studies and follows Uncle Ho’s teachings, “The best diary following Uncle Ho’s teaching”…

Hundreds of talk shows on Uncle Ho were also organized for the local youths over the past time, positively affecting the local youths’ thoughts. As a result, many youths have become bright examples in studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings. Nguyen Van Binh and Nguyen Thi Chau are typical examples for this.

Giving good care to youths

Taking care of youths’ spiritual and material lives is a meaningful deed of the society. Provincial Youth Federation has regularly coordinated with sectors and departments to take care of youths on the annual Tet festivals. Noticeably, ten programs named “Compassionate spring-Connecting love with Mobifone” were organized successfully with interesting games, pavilions with products offered discounts and attractive prizes valued at VND500mln.

Provincial Support Fund for Poor Alien Youths also gave financial support to 60 lodging sub-unions and sub-unions for young workers to organize healthy entertainment activities for young workers; supported youths who could not return home for Tet and provided free medical check-ups and medicine for needy youths with a total expense of VND183mln.

Apartedly, provincial Youth Federation organized 44 classes on computer skills for 1,760 youths. The project on education of sci-tech advancements and how to access internet among youths is underway. Under the project of “gathering youths”, provincial Youth Federation also organized hundreds of classes on skills of job application, consultancy of health, marriage-family…for youths, contributing to improving their social skills.

Promoting economic development

Under the project of “Consulting and supporting youths to set themselves up in business”, provincial Youth Federation has so far organized classes on business administration for more than 100 learners.

Provincial Youth Job Placement Center has also teamed up with Anh Hung One-Member Co.Ltd. to develop the model of “Coffee and employment”. In the first half of the year, provincial Youth Federation and its affiliates also mobilized more than 2,500 youths to take part in the local job transaction floor and career consultancy.

With the above efforts, young people in Binh Duong not only have a chance to express themselves, but also receive more attention for their comprehensive development.
