Horasis Asian Meeting 2019 with the participation of leaders of the Central, provincial governments, ministries, and ministerial leaders of countries is expected to have expansive effects, and to be an opportunity to heighten and spread the image of Binh Duong, facilitating trade and business linkages among localities, countries, and business communities.

According to Đoàn Hữu Đức, Directors Board’s Chairman of Vietnam Consulting Company (VCG) and BankMart Company, lecturer of Fulbright Economics Teaching Program, Horasis Asia 2019 has an important role in supporting development goals of Binh Duong province as well as complete the tasks assigned by the Government, through creating trade opportunities for Binh Duong in particular, the Southern key economic region in general and expanding to the whole countries, ASEAN or Asia-Pacific.

This event will also connect and help local businesses to develop international trades, develop Binh Duong into a dynamic area with a variety of professional services, high-quality human resource, and global trade development, and increasing attraction of real estate projects in the region.

Meanwhile, Kim Won Sik, Chairman of Korean Chamber of Business (KoCham) in Binh Duong, said that this was an opportunity for Binh Duong to further expand its image to attract investment from large corporations. Currently, with the advantage of modern infrastructure of industrial parks, Binh Duong has become a preferred destination to domestic and foreign investors. Korean businesses support Binh Duong’s renovation orientation towards investment attraction into high-tech industries.

Trần Anh Vũ, Director of Lien Thanh Company (Ben Cat Town), expected that at Horasis Asia 2019 there would be many discussions about development orientations of Vietnamese businesses, evaluations of the development direction of SMEs, signing and exchanging programs to give provincial businesses an opportunity to introduce themselves to Asian partners.

Dr. Nguyễn Việt Long, Director of the Binh Duong Smart City Office, said that Asia was now working together politically and commercially to create a dynamic region, a driving force for the world’s common growth. In the context that the world is witnessing trade conflicts, an increasing trend of protectionism, in one way or another, this is the time for Asia to become a world economic center because of its big consumer market.

Binh Duong has built its position as one of the key economic centers in the South Vietnam and the largest industrial development destination, one of the strongest destinations to attract foreign investment in Vietnam. An advantage of Binh Duong is the province's right policy to facilitate the development of high value-added industries, increasing the localization rate, forming and developing auxiliary industries for the integration into the global value chain, in line with the smart city development project and the 4.0 technology revolution trend.

Provincial leadership encourages companies to innovate their technology and increase linkages with large corporations. Besides industrial development, the province develops urban services in the direction of modernity, friendliness and sustainability; upgrading infrastructures to serve economic development and attract investment, creating efficient ecosystems. Horasis Asia has built a good reputation as an investment forum that provides a comprehensive view of the Asian economy’s success. The second time Binh Duong hosting this event will strengthen the province's reputation, introduce the image of Binh Duong to the international arena, to partners and investors.

With the influence of Horasis Asia and the participation of leaders of governments, ministries and ministerial-level leaders of countries, this event will be a large chance to strengthen and expand the image of Binh Duong to promote trade and business linkages.
