Key works of Tan Uyen district have created impetus for development. They include Thu Bien, Bach Dang, Thanh Hoi bridges, Thanh Phuoc pork and some routes.
The inauguration of Thu Bien bridge linking Tan Uyen district with Dong Nai province’s Vinh Cuu district is a pride for D war-base people. The 270m bridge has a total capital of VND163bil and has offered favorable conditions for local socio-economic development and formed up the Belt Road No.4 as planned. Besides, the birth of the bridge has narrowed distance between Dong Nai, Binh Duong and neighboring provinces.
Aside from Thu Bien bridge, Bach Dang bridge linking Bach Dang islet with Uyen Hung township has been under use, helping develop Bach Dang rural area including grapefruit growing areas and eco-tourism sites.
Along to Thu Bien and Bach Dang bridges, Thanh Hoi bridge linking Thanh Hoi islet with Tan Uyen district has opened a new period for the D war-base zone. This is a favorable condition for the district to meet the local industrialization and modernization goals in the coming time.
Beside system of bridges, Thanh Phuoc pork has created an important waterway route for the district. The project has 16 quays, capitalized at VND1,450bil. The int’l standard pork has a turn-round capacity of 5mil tons of goods per year.
To routes
Recently, Becamex IDC started a construction on 3 key routes, capitalized at over VND1,428bil at the district. The BOT project will be completed within 4 years. Once completed, the key routes will contribute to lure investment and create traffic circulation between South Tan Uyen with Thu Dau Mot town and between northeastern Tan Uyen with South Binh Duong, between North Tan Uyen with Binh Duong new city.
In terms of rural traffic and urban rejuvenation, the district has finalized 173 routes with the total length of 249.8km, capitalized at VND32.18bil, VND8.9bil of which was funded by local people.
