Efforts to coordinate in finding labor for the enterprise
Despite entering the second quarter of 2024, many businesses in the province are still facing a shortage of labor to meet orders and expand production. In addition to prioritizing skilled workers, businesses still need to recruit unskilled labor for training and job fulfillment. Enterprises in the textile, footwear, wood industries... are units that need to recruit from several hundred to several thousand unskilled workers.
Ms. Luu Tinh Uyen, a human resources officer at Esprinta Vietnam Company Limited in Song Than 2 Industrial Park of Di An city shared: "Entering 2024, many textile, garment, and leather shoe companies have received orders again, so they need to recruit a large number of workers. Although we have been collaborating with the Employment Service Center to post job openings since the beginning of the year, our company is still lacking hundreds of workers. The company offers a fairly good salary and benefits and accepts workers without skills to train."
To help businesses have enough labor force, starting from the Lunar New Year 2024, labor unions at all levels in the province will continuously update the list of labor recruitment of businesses on social networking sites such as Zalo, Facebook, websites to connect labor supply and demand. Mr. Doan Nam Le Thien, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Di An city, said: "Thanks to the coordination with grassroots trade unions in enterprises, we carefully record the number of workers needed to recruit, the number of workers in the required group and sector to report to the Provincial Trade Union. Along with that, we actively post recruitment information of enterprises on trade union associations, groups, notify recruitment information to each rental area, helping enterprises and workers connect supply and demand for jobs."
Recently, through recruitment information from trade unions at all levels in the province, the Provincial Labor Federation has compiled statistics on recruitment by 180 enterprises with over 22,000 workers in the area. This includes detailed statistics on the number of workers needed for recruitment at each enterprise, the industry, and the phone number of the recruitment department at each enterprise. There, the Provincial Labor Federation has a document coordinating with the accompanying recruitment list sent to the Labor Federation of 28 provinces and cities nationwide to ask for support, share recruitment information with people in the working age group, find suitable job information in Binh Duong.
