Early July 24th, Department of Labor – War Invalids and Social Affairs held a conference to launch the Preferential Ordinance to well deserving people (WDP). The conference disseminated new adjustments of Ordinance No. 04/2012/UBTVQH13 dated July 16th 2012; launched governmental Decree No. 31/2013/ND-CP dated April 9th 2013 in terms of detailed guidance of Preferential Ordinance to WDP’s implementation…The Ordinance No. 04/2012/UBTVQH13 amended some provisions of Preferential Ordinance to people deserving well to the Revolutionary, such as: policies for family members of WDP as WDP pass away; social insurance policies for heroic Vietnamese mothers, arrested persons, war invalids, sick soldiers; clearer regulations of nursing, health insurance, education, employment for WDP; clearer regulations of standards, orders, procedures to identify WDP…At the conference, Deputy Head of the Department Huynh Thi Hong Thu answered questions regarding to difficulties while the Ordinance implementation.Reported by T.Ly, X.Hung – Translated by Ngoc Huynh
