Yesterday of July 23, Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung chaired meeting to approve project of “basic survey of geography for mineral, evaluation of the construction and planning for surveying, exploiting and using minerals as common construction materials in Binh Duong province from 2011 to 2015 with vision to 2020”.As reported, Binh Duong Province currently has 44 mines being surveyed and and exploited on area of 1,232 ha of land and 202 ha of water surface. The potentials are of clay for bricks and roof tiles, stone and sand for construction materials, and kaolin. Those are included in group of minerals as materials for construction and pottery which have accounted for huge State’s budget collection through years.Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung asserted that the project has been thoroughly constructed; however, at some extent, it required local authorities to make good evaluation of potentials to enable Provincial People’s Committee to manage the resources without wasting them while ensure regulations on environment matters and site return.Reported by Khanh Vinh – Translated by Vi Bao
