Laos-Vietnam friendly relationship to be tightened

A contest on researching the special ties of Vietnam and Laos was mobilized in the time of 50th anniversary of diplomat ties and 35th year of signing friendly and cooperative treaty. Thus, in a short time, the contest has drawn attention of many people in Binh Duong Province. As reported, the participants joined the contest in serious spirit with well-prepared articles in contents and designs. Many veterans have also joined the contest with the articles written by hand. Those were the respects and impression of special ties that they denoted in their writings as the audience. Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, a working officer of Hoa Phu Ward People’s Committee in Thu Dau Mot City informed that he joined the contest to know more about the culture and special relationship of Vietnam and Laos. Mr. Mai Phuc Hau, a working officer of Zenith Label Vietnam in Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park and the highest winner of the contest said: “I think the contest was an opportunity for us to do research and know more about the special tie. And, we, the younger generation should be devoted to meaningful work to promote the everlasting tie.” Member of public affairs of Communication and Education Board of Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Minh Giao, also the Manager of the contest informed that the success of the mentioned contest was thanks to efforts of local authorities and establishments including Dau Tieng Rubber Co. Ltd., Provincial Army HQ, Army Corps. No. 4, Phu Giao District Communication and Education Board of local Party Committee, Ben Cat District Labor Union, and especially local press. “It’s a contest where people show their respects,” asserted Mr. Nguyen Minh Giao. Mr. Nguyen Van Hai, Deputy Head of Communication and Education of Dau Tieng Rubber Co. Ltd. informed that the contest planning has been announced to plantations and subsidiaries of the company which offers its own prizing system while submitting the best articles to provincial contest. Thus, in a short time, the company has collected nearly 4,000 articles. The contest has been concluded with awards presented to individuals and units, showing the most respects for the tie of Vietnam and Laos.
