Leaders of Di An town visit pagodas on the occasion of the Lady Thien Hau Temple Festival 2014

Di An town’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, sectors and mass organizations, on February 13, held a delegation to visit pagodas and temples across the town on the occasion of the Lady Thien Hau Temple Festival 2014.

At the visiting places, the delegation extended best regards and wishes to pagodas, temples, Buddhist dignitaries and followers on the occasion of the Lady Thien Hau Temple Festival 2014 while wanting that they would further take part in patriotic emulation movements, contributing to strengthening the national great unity bloc and ensuring order-security in order to promote the local socio-economic development.

Di An town is now home to 38 Buddhist facilities, including 34 pagodas and 4 temples, with more than 1,800 Buddhist nuns, monks and followers. Over the past time, authorities at all levels of Di An town always created favorable conditions for the local pagodas and temples to work in according to the law.
