Recent years, the local socio-economy has indicated encouraging changes, ranking second in PCI index in the country. The entire has so far set up 28 IPs, 24 of which are in good operation. The rapid development of industrial field has created a premise for service growth including advertisement field.

According to the local department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, ad activity in the locality has developed rapidly. The unit often steers to inspect managerial work for the field.

Right after Decree No.24/2003/ND-CP, Circular No.43/2003/TT-BVHTT take effect, the department disseminates the regulations to relevant units to map out managerial work for this activity.

Over the past time, ad activity has been mainly focused on town – a political and economic hub of the province. Ad boards with over 40sqm are focused along National Highway 1A, 13 under districts of Di An, Thuan An, Ben Cat and town.

However, the activity remains shortcomings with illegal ad boards installed across streets, impacting on urban beauty. Therefore, the intersectoral inspection team No. 184 often inspects to solve violations.

In 2009, the team fined 10 violations with the total money of over VND51mil. With great efforts, the ad activity in the province has gradually been in good operation. In the first quarter of this year, the functional agency granted 159 ad licenses to units.

To gain higher results in the coming time, the department will keep launching ad managerial work and reinforcing admin reforms in granting ad licenses as well as boosting settlements for violations and mapping out ad plans from now till 2010.
