The provincial Department of Home Affairs and local Buddhist Society yesterday worked with town People’s Committee, mass bodies to hear report on preparation for the 2011 national Buddhism seminar.

Superior Buddhist monk Thich Hue Thong, vice head of the local Buddhist Society reported preparation for the event to be held at the province on March 9-13, 2011.

The seminar will include opening ceremony, music show at the local stadium, a parade themed “Buddhism and environment” at the town center, a requiem at the local Martyrs’ Cemetery, other forums, and charity activities… The seminar will lure tens of thousands of monks and Buddhist believers nationwide.
