Local Fatherland Front task in Q1 under review

*Di An’s FFC awarded emulation banner of provincial People’s Committee

Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), on April 1, held a conference to partially review its activities in Q1 2016, which was presided over by provincial FFC Chairman Huynh Van Nhi.

Reportedly, provincial FFCs at all levels in Q1 well realized law dissemination among locals; strengthened a task of mobilizing them to take part in emulation movements and campaigns, namely “The entire people consolidate to build cultural lifestyle in residential quarters”, “All people take part in the fight against crime”…They also mobilized organizations and individuals to present gifts worth more than VND2.4bln to needy and ethnic minority people; actively took care of the poor on the 2016 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival with a total expense of approximately VND16.6bln…

On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee awarded the emulation banner to Di An town’s FFC, the leading unit in patriotic emulation movements of the local Fatherland Front system last year; the certificates of merit to 2 collectives. Provincial FFC also awarded the certificates of merit to 9 collectives and 11 individuals for their excellent performance in the local Fatherland Front task last year.
