Local leaders receive delegation of Fujian provincial enterprises

On May 4, Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee received and worked with delegation of China’s Fujian provincial enterprises led by Mr.Xiaogang Chen. He extended thanks to the provincial leaders for warm welcome and briefed local leaders on Fujian province – China’s biggest hub of footwear production.

At the working reception, Mr.Xiaogang Chen said that the 18-enterprise delegation’s visit is to learn about Binh Duong’s production of footwear, leather and apparel sectors, Binh Duong’s policies of investment attraction as well as trades luring many laborers.

At the reception, Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee briefed the delegation on local socio-economic situation and local policies of investment attraction. Of these, Binh Duong has focused on attracting investment projects into industrial parks as well as given priorities to auxiliary industrial sector including apparel industry.
