Over years, the Party and State have always paid much attention to revolutionary contributors, martyrs’ relatives and war invalids.
Aside from focusing on effective implementation of gratitude repayment, the provincial Public Security has much paid attention to building gratitude and charity houses and taking care for war invalids and privileged families. The work is considered as a foundation to educate young generation.
The war was over but its consequences remain existent so far. In the anti-American resistance war, Binh Duong was a fierce battlefield where many soldiers laid down their life for the country unification.
To pay tribute to revolutionary contributors, the local Party and Public Security directorate have often paid attention to revolutionary contributors. Movements of gratitude repayment, gift visits have become a constant deed across province. Over years, the provincial Public Security has received to take care for 5 heroic mothers. Possibly speaking, the local Public Security has excelled works of gratitude repayment.
The sector has set up the gratitude repayment fund. On big holidays or the Vietnamese War Invalids and Maryrs Day and so on, the local Public Security directorate and local leaders have paid gift visits to privileged families, heroic mothers…
Over the past 5 years, with contributions from sodiers, youths and unionists of the sector more than 1,000 gifts worth over VND300mil have been given to heroic mothers, war invalids and martyrs’ relatives.
Since 2005, the sector has built 6 gratitude houses worth VND20mil. Especially, model of local Public Security youth union takes care for privileged families has built 9 charity houses with the total value of VND62mil.
Apart from solving houses for poor war invalids, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Southern Liberation Day, 65th anniversary of Vietnamese People’s Public Security, the local party committee, Public Security directorate mobilized VND.2bil to build 30 gratitude houses.
To express repayment of young generation, the unit has offered free health check up and medicines for hundreds of war invalids and martyrs’ relatives as well as poor residents in revolutionary zones.
In addition, the unit has constanly called upon soldiers to help poor collegues at other neighoring provinces. Annually, the unit has recruited youths from privileged families to pay tribute to revolutionary contributors as well as offer conditions for the youths to uphold their families’ revolutionary tradition.
Through the gratitude repayment, more and more soldiers have felt secure to work for the country’s peace and prosperouness.
