Candle lights to show gratitude in province’s martyrs’ cemetery

By commemorating contributions of heroes who have fallen for the country, Youth unions of corporation bloc, Thu Dau Mot town, Thuan An district, provincial administration, provincial police, army headquarter, and VSIP vocational college have jointly organized a candle ceremony by the afternoon of July 26th.

 

The ceremony began by performance of Binh Duong Lottery Youth union by attractive lyrics of “Tinh dat do mien Dong” (The love of Eastern land) and dances of ao ba ba (Vietnamese silk-pajama) and soldiers’ uniform. The performance brought audiences back to heroic times of people in the Eastern region of the country in two defensive wars that is unforgettable in the history with precedents generation fallen down for the home land. And it is also gratitude to mothers who had to farewell their own sons and husbands to the battle fields.

 

After dedicated songs and performances, the youths were engaged to flower and incense offering ceremony. In the solemn atmosphere, Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Van, who is Deputy Chairperson of Provincial People’s Council, was the first to light up the candles that formed an S shape on the stage, representing gratitude to the martyrs.

 

Delegations and participants, then, joined in candles lighting and incense offering.

 

By candle light and incense, the youths expressed their gratitude and hopefully they would maintain that love in them.
