On the 63rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’Day, a delegation of provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee paid a visit to provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery on the morning of July 26.
In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, provincial leaders laid a wreath to commemorate heroic martyrs and those who sacrificed their lives for the national liberation and independence. Attending the ceremony were also armed forces, representatives of provincial sectors and departments, districts & town and locals.
*On July 26, a delegation of provincial leaders and NA deputies, led by provincial chairman Nguyen Hoang Son visited and presented 3 gifts worth VND3mln to 3 outstanding policy beneficiaries with hard circumstances in TDM town’s Phu Loi ward.
*The same day, provincial Propaganda and Education Committee Chief Nguyen Thanh Liem together with leaders of provincial sectors and departments visited and presented gifts worth VND1.5mln to 5 policy beneficiaries in Dau Tieng district’s Long Hoa commune.
It is known that provincial leaders visited and presented 44 gifts to policy beneficiaries in Dau Tieng district on this occasion.
*Tran Quoc Binh, Secretary of Di An district’s Party Committee, on July 26, visited and donated 100 gifts worth VND400,000 each to outstanding policy beneficiaries with difficult circumstances in the district. On this occasion, Di An district also built and upgraded 5 gratitude houses with a total expense of VND140mln, extracted from its Gratitude Fund.
In the evening of the same day, youths in the district also burned candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the district’s Martyrs’ Ceremony.
*Phu Giao district held a get-together to mark the 63rd anniversary of War Invalids and Social Affairs, in attendance of more than 230 local leaders and policy beneficiaries.
In the evening of July 26, 300 youths in the district gathered to burn more than 140 candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the district’s Martyrs’ Ceremony. They then heard stories about War Invalid and Martyrs’ Day, July 27 and watched a documentary film “Ngay don anh ve” (The day welcomes his return).
