Locals welcome Tet safely, economically

According to a report by Thuan An town’s People’s Committee, the local people welcomed the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2019 joyfully, safely and economically.

The town also well realized a task of caring for policy beneficiaries, poor people…Particularly, nearly 5,940 policy beneficiaries were supported more than VND8.8billion from central and provincial State budget. The town spent more than VND6.3billion from the local State budget on supporting nearly 5,870 poor households, children with extremely difficult circumstances…In addition, the town mobilized donors, enterprises to offer Tet gifts to workers living away from home, needy children, disabled people…; well ensured food hygiene-safety; maintained the local political security, social order-safety…
