Full Moon Festival or Mid-Autumn Festival has been bringing joy to children all around who enjoy songs, dances and candies with friends. At orphanages, the organization of the Full Moon Festival has been kicked off prematurely. At the center of Bo De Dao Trang Pagoda of orphan support, the atmosphere is overjoy with increased members. Lanterns are made for orphan children “This is the first time we open charity classroom in a bid to eradicate illiteracy. Beside the orphans living at the pagoda, nearly 100 others are attending our classes of grade 1 to grade 5. Those children fell trapped to difficulty situation after accompanying their parents to Binh Duong Province to earn living. As a result, we expanded the classes to nearly 150 children so that they could enjoy the Full Moon Festival to come,” asserted Buddhist nun Tu Thao. For this year, the orphans join up with lantern making to win prizes of the most beautiful lanterns. For the event, plenty of organizations and individuals come to offer the orphans with gifts. They even hold art performance and traditional activities for the children to entertain. The y also call upon kind-hearted people and organization to donate for the children.
