Reducing labor disputes

There were 45 labor disputes and strikes reported in the province in the first three months of 2012, down 30% against to the same period last year.

Dialogues with enterprises have contributed to preventing labor disputes and strikes

Possibly speaking, the province saw considerable reduction in the number of labor disputes and strikes in Q1. This came from the efforts of the local relevant agencies in education and dissemination of laws. Enterprises also made improvements in taking care of the lives of laborers. Noticeably, laborers knew to share difficulties with enterprises…

Seeking basic measures

According to Huynh Van Nhi, vice-chairman of provincial People’s Committee, the local functional agencies needs to further make dissemination of laws among employers and employees to limit labor disputes and strikes.

Such these part, the province’s sectors and departments need to further meet with enterprises to seek measures for contradictions that are able to lead to labor disputes and strikes. If there are labor disputes and strikes, members of provincial Steering Board for Solving Labor Disputes and Strikes and provincial leaders must be present on site to deal with them…
