Many meaningful gifts donated to disabled people and orphans

On January 29, Binh Duong provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, Orphans, and Poor Patients coordinated with Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association to organize a Tet gift giving program. The program was attended by Bui Thanh Nhan, Provincial Party Standing Member, Head of Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee.

At this program, Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, Orphans, and Poor Patients together with Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association give 400 Tet gifts to orphans, disabled children and disadvantaged people with disabilities in the province; each gift included VND1 million in cash and a gift worth VND200,000. In addition, the association also presented 30 gifts, each worth VND300,000, to victims of Agent Orange/dioxin. To help these people improve their lives, with the support of Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, at the program, Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, Orphans, and Poor Patients presented 45 overlock machines to support livelihoods and create jobs for the poor, near-poor and people with disabilities, with a total cost of VND270 million.

From support of Kim Oanh Charity Fund of Binh Duong province, Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, Orphans, and Poor Patients also awarded scholarships to 100 children of poor, near-poor, disabled, and orphaned households. In addition to a scholarship worth 2 million VND, each child also received a gift worth VND200,000. On this occasion, the Association received many support resources from units and businesses.
