Medical examination and treatment establishments for people with foreigner elements announced

In order to unify health examination activities throughout the province, the Department of Health announcé medical examination and treatment establishments that are eligible for medical examination to conduct health examination for people with foreigner elements.

On the basis of Decree No. 155/2018/ND-CP of the government, a health examination establishment must satisfy the conditions that it has been granted an operating license in accordance with the laws; and, there must be enough clinical and paraclinical examination divisions, necessary human resources and medical equipment to examine and detect health status according to health standards and the form of health examination issued together with the medical examination documents guiding health examination according to the provisions of law. However, the Ministry of Health has Circular No. 41/2017/TT-BYT on the annulment of a number of legal documents issued by the Minister of Health on guidelines for medical examination. Therefore, the Department of Health does not record "health examination for people with foreigner elements" in the announcement sheet. The establishments shall set themselves on their actual conditions to ensure that they have enough clinical and paraclinical examination parts, human resources and necessary medical equipment to examine and detect the health status, conduct medical examination in accordance with regulations and take responsibility before law for the results performed by their establishments.
