More than VND 5.3 billion to support charity addresses

To carry out the campaign "Each organization, each individual tie with a charity address", in recent years, all levels of Red Cross in the province have encouraged agencies, units, businesses, and individuals continue to help thousands of people having difficult circumstances in the province.

In order to help more unfortunate people to overcome difficulties and integrate into the community, in 2019, Steering Committee of this campaign focused on communication, raising awareness and responsibilities of all levels, branches, organizations and individuals about the goal and meaning of this campaign. In addition, the review of those who are in extremely difficult circumstances and need support also received attention so as not to miss anyone who needs help. The Steering Committee at all levels also expanded good and effective new models to mobilize more resources for the campaign.

As a result, in 2019, all levels of Red Cross in the province surveyed and recorded 1,667 addresses, of which 1,605 addresses were supported monthly from 10kg of rice to 1.5 million VND / month. The total amount of donations from organizations and individuals in 2019 reached more than VND 5.3 billion.
