“National great unity” festival held across the province

A festival of the great national unity bloc and the 86th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) (November 18, 1930-November 18, 2016) was held in Vinh Phu ward’s Trung quarter in Thuan An town on the afternoon of November 13. Attending the event was Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

Thanks to the campaign of “Building up cultural lifestyle” well implemented, the whole quarter had a total of 509 households the “cultural” title, 328 of whom won the title for 3 consecutive years and 54 lodging facilities recognized as cultural ones in 2016.

Speaking at the festival, Mr.Dung informed locals of achievements done by Binh Duong over the past 20 years. He also sent congratulations to households, lodging facilities recognized as cultural ones; praised locals for their efforts in the “Building up cultural lifestyle” campaign while wanting that they will try harder in realizing patriotic emulation movements, actively taking part in the campaign of “Building up new rural and civilized urban areas” in the coming time…

On this occasion, Vinh Phu ward’s People’s Committee awarded certifications for 10 cultural households for 3 consecutive years and 11 outstanding cultural ones in 2016.

*On the morning of the same day, An Thanh ward’s Thanh Hoa B quarter in Thuan An town kicked off a national great unity festival, in attendance of Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council.

In 2016, locals boosted solidarity to help each other in economic development, step by step building up civilized urban areas. The whole quarter had 1,077 households with the “cultural” title or 91.5% of total, 893 of whom won the title for 3 consecutive years.

Addressing the festival, Mrs.Oanh acknowledged and praised achievements done by officials, Party members and people in the quarter while wanting them to better uphold the movement of “The entire people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle in residential quarters” in many other emulation movements, upholding the strength of the national great unity bloc.

On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee presented 10 gifts to 10 local poor households. An Thanh ward’s People’s Committee also honored 5 households with the “cultural” title for 5 consecutive years and 15 ones with the title for 3 consecutive years.

*On the morning of the same day, Hung Dinh ward’s Hung Tho quarter in Thuan An town also held the 2016 “national great unity” festival.

In 2016, the quarter’s Mobilization Board of the “All people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle in residential quarters” campaign actively promoted the campaign among locals, contributing to the local socio-economic development. The whole quarter had 396 cultural households or more than 97% of total, 238 of whom won the “cultural” title for 3 consecutive years.

On this occasion, Hung Dinh ward’s People’s Committee honored 5 outstanding cultural households in 2016 and 2 ones for 3 consecutive years. Donors also presented 35 gifts worth VND300,000 each to poor and near-poor households in the quarter.

*The 2016 “national great unity” festival was also held in Thuan Giao ward’s Binh Thuan 2 quarter in Thuan An town yesterday morning with more than 200 participants.

Reportedly, the quarter had a total of 863 cultural households; 536 out of 560 lodging facilities recognized as cultural ones…in 2016. On this occasion, 19 outstanding cultural households were honored. The quarter’s Fatherland Front Committee also donated 10 gifts to needy households.

*According to a report by the Executive Board of Tan Binh ward’s Tan Phu 1 quarter in Di An town at the 2016 “national great unity” festival, the “All people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle in residential quarters” campaign was implemented very comprehensively and obtained good results. The whole quarter has till now had 1,596 cultural households or 98.52% of total; all 22 cultural lodging facilities…

On this occasion, 46 outstanding cultural households in 2016 and 1,345 ones for 3 consecutive years were honored. The local authorities at all levels and donors also presented gifts to 30 poor and near-poor households.

*Early November 13, Di An ward’s Thang Loi 2 quarter in Di An town also organized the 2016 “national great unity” festival.

Under the campaign of “All people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle in residential quarters”, the local political security, social order and safety continued being maintained. The material and spiritual lives of the local people were also improved. So far, there have been 98% of cultural households, 100% of cultural lodging facilities, quarters…

On this occasion, Di An ward awarded the certificates of merit to 10 outstanding cultural households. Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Thang Loi quarter also presented gifts to 30 needy households and 10 poor-but-excellent pupils…
