Nearly 2,600 transport business vehicles have installed cameras according to regulations

Department of Transport said that, as of March 22, 2022, according to data from transport business units, 2,584 out of 7,299 transport business vehicles have installed cameras according to the regulations, gaining the ratio of 35.4%.

In which, 71 out of 152 fixed route passenger transport vehicles, 81 out of 181 passenger transport buses and 901 out of 2,000 contracted passenger transport vehicles with over 9 seats have installed cameras according to the regulations.

Particularly for freight transport, 372 out of 562 tractors and 1,159 out of 4,405 container trucks have installed cameras.

According to Department of Transport, the unit is currently managing and granting badges to 46,115 transport business vehicles of all types, of which the number of passenger transport is 4,882 vehicles.
