*In Q1, 2018, provincial Labor Union in collaboration with functional agencies to carry out inspection tours on the enforcement of labor laws at 41 enterprises. The result of the inspection showed that there were infringements relating to the Labor Code, the Law on Trade Union and regulations on labor safety. Relevant enterprises were also ordered to improve their infringements in the soonest time.

*According to provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, from January 2 to March 2, 2018, there were 8,360 laborers asking for enjoying unemployment insurance policies. Provincial Job Placement Center also gave vocational training support for 540 laborers, introduced jobs to more than 8,000 others…

*In the first three months of 2018, provincial Trade Unions at all levels in collaboration with the People’s Committees of the province, districts, towns and TDM city offered 9,100 gifts worth VND500,000 each to workers with difficult circumstances. They also gave 355,000 gifts worth more than VND100billion from State budget for needy laborers; mobilized enterprises to offer 150,000 gifts worth between VND100,000 and VND500,000 each to them…

*Since early this year, the Legal Consultancy Group under Di An town’s Labor Union has given legal consultancy for more than 100 laborers, contributing to enhancing the local effectiveness of protecting laborers’ legitimate rights and interests while limiting labor distributes.
